Statesboro Bulloch Chamber of Commerce and Ogeechee Technical College
will be teaming up to present Southeast Georgia’s Agriculture Career
Fair.
The Agriculture Career Fair is an event that is attended by students in an agriculture related major and professionals with experience in an agriculture-based field.  The Career Fair will also provide an excellent opportunity to connect with students/professionals to discuss or interview for current and/
or future career-related employment or intern opportunities.
 
Please complete the Registration Form below by Tuesday, March 25.  With
your confirmation, we will send a Statesboro and Ogeechee Technical College campus map noting the location of the Career Fair.  A table (8 foot) will be
provided for each organization.

Social Media for Business 101 & Advanced Social Media for Business

Social Media for Business 101 is for those wanting to start using social media for their business or have just recently started using it. This is an introductory course to social media that will allow you to get off the right way.

Dates: Tuesdays, April 15-May 6 from 11:30 am – 1 pm at Lori Grice Photography, downtown Statesboro

Topics include: Introduction to the Social Media Platforms & Their Rules; Social Media Strategy Basics; Content Creation 101 and Tools You Can Use (Social Media Tools to Make Your Life Easier).

Advanced Social Media for Business is for those already using social media for their business but really want to maximize what they are already doing. This class can be taken along side Social Media for Business 101.

Dates: Thursdays, April 17-May 8 from 11:30 am – 1 pm at Lori Grice Photography, downtown Statesboro

Topics include: Social Media & SEO; Social Advertising; All About Analytics and Beyond Social Media: Blogging, Writing and Establishing Your Industry Expertise

Apr 21    Understanding Dementia and Alzheimer?s Conference
This one day conference will provide the attendees with cutting edge information about dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and forgetfulness. This conference will provide healthcare professionals and caregivers with positive approaches for working with persons with dementia. Also, discriminate among the terms: dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and forgetfulness; Describe symptoms that commonly occur with Alzheimer’s disease/dementia based or brain damage; recognize behaviors that are indicative of dementia-related conditions.

Credits applications will be submitted to:

 

  • Georgia Nurses Association (GNA)
  • Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCA)
  • National Association of Social Workers – Georgia (NASW-GA)

CEU’s awarded by Georgia Southern University to be submitted to Nursing Home Administration Accreditation
